I am a mother of two children with special needs. My daughter is exceptionally brilliant, and my son is autistic.
The challenges I face with my daughter are of a completely different sort than the kind I face with my son. In many ways, my daughter is ‘easier’ to handle and but her special needs are just as challenging to accommodate.
This blog is about my journey as the mother of two kids with special needs, and will also include what I see about the interaction and issues that can affect them as siblings.
This blog is my attempt to open a small window into our lives, in the hopes that other parents of children with special needs will read and share their thoughts.
